FOX VALLEY GOLF CLUB
Transformed from 130 acres of horse farm, this then newly constructed Western New York course was facing foreclosure when Paloma stepped in and built not only a majestic clubhouse overlooking the 18th hole, but also a successful private membership program still in place some 15 years later.
Combined with Paloma-designed amenities and marketing,
the thriving country club caught the attention of the the Arnold Palmer Golf Management Company, which purchased Fox Valley from Paloma in 1997.
GENEVA NATIONAL RESORT & CLUB
Paloma saw long-term potential is this struggling semi-private Southeastern Wisconsin golf club and purcahsed it in 1996. Within five years, Paloma had rebuilt Geneva National, adding nine holes by Gary Player -- for a grand total of 54 holes -- expanding upscale food and beverage and repositioning membership. Geneva National has been successful ever since. "We're very good at understanding what's happening in the world, the region and our business," notes CEO Garth Chambers. Such perceptiveness enables Paloma to adapt club and member programs accordingly, as exhibited by its paragon Geneva National.
