Hunt Club Steakhouse Earns Wine Spectator Award of Excellence 2016

JUST ANOTHER REASON WHY THIS LAKE GENEVA ESTABLISHMENT IS FIRST IN GLASS.

For the 11th consecutive year, Geneva National Resort’s Hunt Club Steakhouse has been honored for its outstanding wine program in Wine Spectator’s Restaurant Wine List Awards, which recognize the world’s best wine lists.

Lake Geneva’s Hunt Club Steakhouse brings home the 2016 Award of Excellence, which applauds restaurants whose wine lists feature a well-chosen assortment of quality producers along with a thematic match to the menu in both price and style. Some 2,400 other restaurants from around the globe also garnered the Award of Excellence, marking each as a top destination for wine lovers.

“On behalf of Wine Spectator, I’m thrilled to congratulate each and every award-winning restaurant. They should be very proud,” said Marvin R. Shanken, Editor and Publisher, Wine Spectator.

Indeed, the Hunt Club Steakhouse is privileged to once again receive such an esteemed award. “We are honored that our wine list is highly recognized by Wine Spectator, as its reputation and influence in the wine world exceeds all other such publications,” comments Martha Militello, Manager of the Hunt Club Steakhouse.

For Militello and her staff, wine is not just another libation, but a priority in the dining experience. “Whether enhancing a dish, occasion or celebration, wine is at the forefront of everything we do,” adds Militello. “Our devotion to quality wines is rooted in a passion for each bottle’s history and geographic origins – as well as the people with whom we share our wine and the cuisine it accompanies.”

With such a winning outlook on wine, the Hunt Club Steakhouse no doubt will continue to pour out more accolades for years to come.
